Labourer - Water & Sewerage Department

Work on maintenance, repairs, and construction for water and sewer services across Murweh Shire, while supporting other projects as needed. The role also includes participating in an on-call roster to respond to emergency repairs outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Library Assistant, Relief - Augathella

Casual role supporting the day-to-day operations of the Augathella Library, providing relief coverage when the Librarian is away. Suits a friendly, organised person who enjoys customer service and contributing to a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Expression of Interest – Casual Pool

Murweh Shire Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and reliable individuals for inclusion in its casual employment pool.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning
  • Lawn mowing and general grounds maintenance
  • Town amenities cleaning
  • General labouring

Casual engagements are offered on an as-needed basis, with hours of work varying in accordance with operational requirements. This arrangement is best suited to applicants who are flexible and available to work on short notice.
