Mulga Lands Gallery

Located in the heart of Charleville, the Mulga Lands Gallery is a contemporary art space showcasing a dynamic program of curated exhibitions across a wide range of artistic genres. The purpose-built gallery opened in 2018 as part of Charleville’s 150th anniversary celebrations, but its connection to the arts began much earlier.

Previously home to the Charleville Cultural Association, the space was transformed into a dedicated gallery after the Association relocated to new premises behind the site in 2015. Renovations, supported by urban design students from Griffith University, helped shape the gallery into the vibrant venue it is today.

The Mulga Lands Gallery is located on Alfred Street and is accessible through the Charleville Library. Entry is free, and the gallery is open Monday to Saturday during library hours.
