Murweh Shire Australia Day Awards – Celebrate Our Local Legends!

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for our community? Someone whose efforts, achievements or spirit make the Murweh Shire a better place to live? Now’s the time to give them the recognition they deserve!

Nominations are open for the Murweh Shire Australia Day Awards, celebrating the outstanding individuals, volunteers, and groups who make a real difference across our region. Categories include Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Community Group or Event of the Year. These awards honour those who contribute through community service, sport, the arts, leadership, conservation, fundraising, and more.

The Spirit of Murweh Award will also be presented to recognise those quiet achievers in Morven, Augathella and Charleville — people or groups who continually go above and beyond without seeking the spotlight.
