Disaster Season is fast approaching, are you ready? Join us for a community event which will ensure you are prepared both mentally and physically for whatever the weather may bring.

Murweh Shire Council, together with local emergency and health services, is calling on the community to come together for Get Ready Murweh - a day of fun, learning, and preparation for the upcoming disaster season.

The event will be held on Saturday, 11 October from 9:00am at Graham Andrews Park, Charleville, as part of Get Ready Queensland Week (6 - 11 October).

“Queensland is the most disaster-prone state in Australia. The more prepared we are, the quicker we can bounce back,” says Mayor Shaun “Zoro” Radnedge. “Get Ready Murweh is about building resilience, knowing our risks, and connecting with the services that support us in times of need.”
