Administration

Rate payments can be made by any of the following methods:

  • Credit Card – Call Council on (07) 4656 8355 during business hours to pay your rates account. The service accepts Visa, Bankcard and Mastercard.
  • Mail – Detach the payment slip from the rate notice and return it to Council with your cheque or money order.
  • In Person – Present your rates account at the Murweh Shire Office to make your payment via cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
  • Post Office - rates may be paid at any Post Office within Australia - your original rates notice will be needed to enable payment to be processed.

Rates notices are issued half yearly.  To ensure you obtain all available discounts, please contact Council if you haven’t received your notice by these dates.
