Community Assistance Applications NOW OPEN
Applications for events/projects from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024 are now being sought.
Community Grants create mutually beneficial agreements with local Not-for-profit or Auspiced Organisations to support the delivery of community outcomes for Murweh.
This program is focused on enabling successful activities through the provision of in kind assistance or fee waiver.
Community Grants are most suited to community organisations that seek in-kind support to conduct activities which align with the public interest and improve the quality of life for residents of Murweh.
Who can Apply?
An applicant must:
- be a Not-for-profit Organisation or Auspiced by a Not-for-profit Organisation that is able to accept legal and financial responsibility for the project and its activities
- be a financially viable organisation
- reside and/or primarily provide services within the Murweh Local Government Area (LGA)
- be free of debt to Council
- hold appropriate public liability insurance per Activity.
Applications will be competitive, a second round for January-June 2025 will open in November 2024.
